After attending Oregon Episcopal High School, Willamette University, and the College of William and Mary, Ruth owned Progressive Marketing Concepts for 13 years before entering real estate.

Her community involvement includes the Breast Center at Providence St. Vincent’s Hospital and support for See You At The Summit, which helps teenagers battling cancer. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Great real estate brokers are those that listen carefully and work with the best interest of their clients in mind. I have achieved success by working closely with my clients and offering excellent resources, whether marketing their home or negotiating on their behalf. My background as an interior designer is a big plus when marketing homes to their best advantage and seeing the potential in homes on the market.

I have lived in Portland for over 35 years and have been a real estate broker for 20 of those. Prior to that I worked as an interior designer and sales representative. I have a B.A. in Design and Housing from the University of Iowa. Outside of work I dabble in painting and drawing, and my husband and I like to entertain friends and family, travel, get out into nature and play with our two Portuguese Water Dogs!
