ABOUT RUTH TARR

As the owner and principal broker of Tarr Realty NW I take great pride in the quality of service and expertise that we offer.

Though I was born in Virginia, I have lived in Portland since I was 5. My husband and I have raised our children here and can't imagine living anywhere else! After graduating from Oregon Episcopal High School and Willamette University and the College of William and Mary, I owned a marketing company, Progressive Marketing Concepts, for 13 years before obtaining my real estate license. I have been a licensed Realtor for 12 years and have a complete portfolio of service providers, am a member of the Master’s Circle Club, 2012 and 2013 Portland Five Star Real Estate Agent’s Award Winner (among only 7% of Realtor’s in Portland).

When I am not working, I spend my time volunteering, traveling, golfing, cooking, working out and spending time with family and friends. I am proud to say that I am on the Advisory Board for the Breast Center at Providence St. Vincent’s Hospital and volunteer at their Transitions Center. I have volunteered in the past for Doerrnbecher’s Children’s Hospital and Medical Teams International.

As a top producer my love of buying and selling homes is apparent in every step of every transaction. I pride myself on being relationship driven, not transaction driven.
